My name is Hailea Stevenson, a 23 year old aspiring graphic designer currently studying Graphic Design at Georgian College in my hometown of Barrie, Ontario. As the middle child in a family of five siblings, creativity has always been my way of carving out space and finding my voice.
Art and creation have shaped my interests for as long as I can remember. Growing up as a dancer, I fell in love with self-expression through movement, which naturally led me to hip-hop. Its loose, rhythmic energy pulled me into the culture surrounding it, and from there, my curiosity expanded into all genres of music, deepening my appreciation for creativity in every form.
Design matters to me because, in an era increasingly influenced by AI, I believe there has never been a more important time to create by hand, by mind, and by instinct. I strive to leave the world better than I found it, whether through meaningful design or even work that exists simply to celebrate raw creation. If something I make allows people to pause, feel, or see beauty in the process itself, then I’ve done my job.
